Tus primeras fotografias/Your first pictures

Toda mujer que ha estado embarazada sabe lo que es vivir ese momento en el que ves por primera vez la ecografía de tu bebé, cuando ves su corazón latir en la pantalla y sabes automáticamente que todo va bien. Y ese momento, en el que la enfermera te dice: "y este es el latido de su corazón" y escuchas esa preciosa melodía llena de vida. Es tan bonito... Me sentí tan afortunada, tan feliz, que no pude evitar ponerme a llorar de la emoción.

 

Te hemos visto y oído, ya sabemos que estás bien y que creces poco a poco dentro de mi. Es un alivio saber que todo va perfectamente, es algo que me tenía muy preocupada. Cada día tu papá y yo miramos tus primeras fotografías. Eres precioso/a.

 

Nuestra familia y algunos amigos ya sabían de ti pero, después de que mi ginecólogo nos dijera que todo iba muy bien, hemos hecho oficial la gran noticia compartiendo tu foto con toda la gente que conocemos porque estamos llenos de felicididad de anunciar que estás en camino. Todos se han alegrado muchísimo y nos han enviado muchas felicitaciones.

 

Estamos deseando que llegue la siguiente visita al ginecólogo para verte otra vez.

 

Every woman who has been pregnant knows how it feels when you live that moment when you see your baby's sonogram for the first time. When you see his/her heart beating on the screen and you know immediately everything is going well. And that moment, when the nurse says: "and this is your baby's heartbeat" and you listen to that beautiful melody that is full of life. It's amazing... I felt so lucky, so happy that I couldn't help myself and I started crying.

 

We saw you and heard you and we already know you're ok and you're growing little by little inside of me. It's such a relief knowing that everything is going well. It's something that worried me a lot. Every day your dad and I look at your first pictures. You are so beautiful.

 

Our families and some friends already knew about you, but after my gynecologist told us you're fine, we wanted to share the big news with everybody. We are so happy to announce that your are on the way. Everybody was so happy for us and they sent their congratulations.

 

We can't wait until the next visit to the gynecologist to see you again.
